Introduction Kathmandu International School, popularly known as KINS, is an independent, co-educational public school which caters to educational needs of students from kindergarten to secondary. Operating under the law of Government of Nepal, KINS has always stood for quality. Having created a glorious history behind, KINS has been continually moving ahead in pursuit of excellence in education since its inception in 1992. Undoubtedly, KINS has been up to the mark on the vision it was founded for.With about 900 students enrolling from all diversities in its day scholar, day boarder, and boarding facilities, KINS is backed up by a competent set of educationists. We know that KINS has been able to achieve multiple heights. KINS, as we had envisioned, has become a place of worship that imparts quality education to the common masses of Kathmandu. Coincidentally, KINS is in the lap of Lord Pashupatinath, which always inspires us to be truthful and committed to quality. Till 16th batch more than 550 S.L.C. scholars have been produced, who have been performing their best in different colleges and educational institutions. Similarly, more than 225 students are abroad covering almost all the countries. The school has been able to produce skilled manpower such as doctors, engineers, pilots, nurses, etc. This fact can well justify that KINS can be one of the best choices. Goodwill of the past and our accomplishments have immensely encouraged us to initiate 10+2 wing under the same foundation. Quality doesn’t come with apology at KINS. It is dedicated to serve the society and the nation through education from this part of the world. We are committed to making it a pure educational institute that invariably seeks for an individual student’s all-round development. Uniform Students are required to wear their respective  gender uniform from a combination of white shirt, white trousers/skirts, white socks, white ribbons, and white canvas shoes on Fridays and Tuesdays. Also, they are allowed to wear camouflage trousers/skirts with cream color shirts, black flat shoes on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Note: Students are not allowed to wear pointed party shoes and boots, colouring hair, not more than 1/2 inch hair, hip-hop pant to school.
